This note, Serial Number A/1 00001, was sold at Lockdales Coins & Collectibles auction on July 14, 2012 for 10,000 ($15,576). The note was once in the possession of William Douglas Auchinleck, Auditor General of Antigua, and one of the signitories on the banknote, whose family had been established in the West Indies since the 1700s.
